Tightrope Walker Across Niagara Falls
Blondale was the Great tight rope walker who tight rope walked across Niagara Falls in the 1850’s. Not only crossed it but turned around and came back across. After the first few steps of his venture he stopped and looked at the cheering crowd and yelled to them:
" Do you believe I can cross?" They cheered back "Yes, we believe". He crossed, then came back.
Then he got a wheel barrel and put it in front of him and got ready to go across, but he again turned to the crowd and yelled, "Do you believe I can cross with a wheel barrel ?" The crowd cheered "YES we believe”.
He then said “OK-- who wants to get in?"
Now that's Belief vs. Commitment!
