Trust God and Tie Up Your Camel
A camel driver was crossing the dessert alone with his camel. Being a very religious and spiritually concerned fellow, he pondered as he walked, "Should I trust God or should I tie up my camel at night?"
Arriving at an oasis, he learned that an old, holy man with a reputation for being very wise was living at the edge of the dessert. So off he went to find him to ask him the question he'd been pondering.
After receiving a gracious welcome, he asked him, what do I do at night? Do I trust God or do I tie up my camel?
Come back tomorrow, my son, and I'll have an answer for you, responded the holy man.
When he came back the next day, the holy man said, I have the answer for you, my son. Trust God! And tie up your camel!
One of the principles for success in life is collaboration! It's utterly impossible to do everything ourselves. We need the participation and collaboration of others. It's not me-or--them or me-or-God, it's me and them, me and God, or the Universe if you're more comfortable with that concept.
